Article 1: Modification of the terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on the www.redwoodpaddle.com website.

SAS BTR reserves the right to adapt or modify at any time these terms and conditions. In case of modification, the terms and conditions in force at the time of placing the order will be applied.

Article 2: Availability of products

Our product offers are valid while stocks last.

Upon receipt of your order, we will check the availability of the ordered product/s. In the case of a product or products being unavailable, we are committed within 30 days of receiving your order to deliver the ordered product or to offer a similar product at a similar price or to issue a refund.

Article 3: Price

Prices are in euros and are exclusive of transport costs. The user will have to pay the delivery costs, unless otherwise agreed at the point of placing the order. SAS BTR reserves the right to change prices at any time, especially in the case of a VAT rate increase or in the event of a pricing error.

Article 4: Payment and security

Payment terms:

You can make the payment:

1 / By credit card and Paypal, this process speeds up the processing of your order.

2 / by bank transfer: When you complete your order you will find our bank transfer details. Your order will be recorded and confirmed upon receipt of payment.

3 / by cheque, your order will be recorded and confirmed upon receipt of the cheque. SAS BTR cannot guarantee product availability for orders paid by cheque.

Payment security:

The data of your credit card is encrypted using SSL 128 (Secure Socket Layer) and never transmitted unencrypted over the network. Payment is made directly to the bank. REDWOODPADDLE has no access to such data and customer payment data is not kept on its servers. That is why payment data is requested for each new transaction on our site.

Property retention clause:

The products remain the property of SAS BTR until full payment of the order. However, after delivery, the ownership of goods passes to the customer.

Non-receipt of payment:

SAS BTR reserves the right to refuse the delivery of an order where full payment has not been received or where there is a payment dispute over a previous order.

Article 5: Delivery

We will make any reasonable efforts to deliver the Goods within the delivery time specified. However, any delivery date or time specified by us is a best estimate only and we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any unavoidable delay in delivery.


Products purchased on the Site REDWOODPADDLE.COM are available in the following countries: France, Corsica, Monaco, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, Sweden, Italy, Norway and the UK.

For package tracking reasons, we are unable to deliver orders to military bases, hospitals and holiday resorts.

For all orders outside of the European Union (excluding Switzerland) all invoicing is VAT exempt.

Delivery times:

Delivery can vary from 1 to 3 working days for mainland France, Corsica and Monaco, under product availability (in accordance with Article 2). Bank holidays do not count as working days.

Delivery can vary from 7 to 30 working days for foreign countries, subject to stock availability (under Article 2).

This is an average time depending on the destination, shipping method and availability of the article.

Delivery methods:

The ordered product is delivered by a transporter / carrier according to the product specified and the address provided on the online order form.

Package delivery:

You must check the conformity of the goods delivered at the time of delivery and before signing the delivery note (CARRIER). You must indicate on the delivery order and handwritten form accompanied by your signature any anomaly concerning the delivery (damaged product ...). This verification of goods received is considered complete once the buyer, or a person authorized by them, has signed the delivery note.

No claims may be made against SAS BTR or the transporter / carrier if the delivery note has been signed.

In the case of the delivery of a stand up paddle board, if the board is damaged, please write on the delivery note: "PARCEL REFUSED, BOARD DAMAGED" and add your signature.

You must inform us of this straight away and on receipt of the damaged board we will organise the expedition of a replacement board (the parcel can be returned to us directly without any transportation cost to you.)

Article 6: Responsibilities

SAS BTR cannot be held liable for breach of contract due to a force majeure (flood, fire, etc.) or disruption or total or partial strike of postal services and transport and / or communications.

The selection and purchase of a product are the sole responsibility of the customer. SAS BTR is exempt of any responsibility and is not liable for any reimbursement or compensation due to the incompatibility of the product/s chosen by the customer.

In the case of non- or partial delivery of an order, you have up to one year (from the date of placing the order) to make a claim. Beyond this deadline we will not accept any claim.

Article 7: Right of withdrawal

Cancellation policy:

Pursuant to the provisions of article L 121-20 of consumer legislation: “The consumer has a period of seven (7) clear days within which to exercise his/her right of retraction without needing to justify his/her reasons or to pay penalties, with the exception of return costs, where applicable. The consumer may depart from this period in the event that he/she is unable to travel and where, at the same time, he/she needs to make use of an immediate service, which is necessary for his/her  living conditions. In this case, he/she will continue to exercise his/her rights of retraction without needing to justify his/her reasons or to pay penalties”.

When the seven days deadline expires on a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday or holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

The product must be returned in good condition, with all accessories (fins ...) in its original packaging and not used.

Return Process:

The return costs for a product declared not conforming to the order, will be paid by REDWOODPADDLE for all orders in Metropolitan France. You just have to contact REDWOODPADDLE's customer service so that a postage will be sent to you at our expense.The present right of return can only be accepted for new and complete products, in their original state (packaging, accessories, instructions...) with a copy of the purchase invoice. Items returned incomplete, damaged or soiled by the customer will not be taken back or exchanged.

We endeavour to make an exchange, credit note or refund within a maximum of 15 days after receipt of the products by us.

No cash on delivery will be accepted. On the other hand, returns for countries outside the EU zone will be at the expense of the buyer.

Article 8: Warranties and Service

All our products are guaranteed for one year, parts and labour. In case of failure during the initial warranty period, repairs will be performed free of charge by us or by a shaper / repairer approved by SAS BTR.

It is essential to contact us for any warranty or service related issues with regard to material conditions of use.

To qualify for the guarantee of the products it is imperative to keep the purchase invoice of the product or to be in the client datebase.

We remind you that you also benefit from the legal guarantee of the latent

defects in application of articles 1640 of the French civil code.

 *Conditions of use of the material:

For inflatable boards: 

Always rinse it with clean water, especially after a trip in salt water, make sure the valve is free of sand that could be corrosive.

Wait until it is dry before folding and storing it.

Avoid overheating: heat in the storage area will increase the pressure, UV rays will discolour it prematurely or create stains which is absolutely not covered by the warranty. When picnicking in direct sunlight, you should : - find shade or leave it in the water, well moored. - Deflate it slightly by 2 or 3 PSI (if you have your pump in your waterproof bag to reinflate it before returning!)

Do not use any chemicals to clean your SUP. Soapy water will suffice to regularly remove paddle marks for example.

For hardboards: 

Avoid overheating: the high heat in the storage area will damage and delaminate your board which is not covered by the warranty, UV rays will prematurely discolour or create stains and risk delaminating your board.

When picnicking in direct sunlight, you should : - Find shade or leave it in the water, well moored.

Always rinse it with clean water, especially after a trip in salt water, and make sure that the valve is free of corrosive sand.

Wait until it is dry before storing it in its cover.

Article 9: Data Protection and Freedom

At any moment, "you have a right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning you” (art 34 of the law "Data Protection and Freedom" of 6 January, 1978). REDWOODPADDLE will not disclose your details to third parties.

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All relations arising because of the connection and / or use of this site is subject to French law. The competent court in cases of dispute will be the court nearest to Perpignan.
